Dear Team (current and future Cucumbers),
I am thrilled to announce a significant change in how we operate here at Cucumber Marketing. In the pursuit of creating a more productive and efficient work environment, it has been decided to officially retire the traditional 9-to-5 work schedule at our marketing agency. Instead, we are introducing a flexible working hours model that will empower our team members to take control of their schedules.
Starting immediately, each team member will have the freedom to determine their own working hours. Our focus remains on maintaining an average of 40 hours of work per week, but the when is up to each individual. A Cucumber Marketing, we understand that productivity and creativity are not confined to a strict time frame, and we believe this shift will enable our team to operate at their optimal levels.
While our office in downtown Vancouver will continue to serve as a hub for collaborative meetings with both our team and clients, we recognize the value in granting our employees the flexibility to structure their workday according to their personal peak performance periods. We acknowledge that as marketers, our profession attracts individuals with a strong creative drive, yet just like anyone else, our team members benefit from having a certain level of structure. With that, Cucumber Marketing is committed to continuing to provide the necessary support and structure through our internal tools, processes, and collaborative workflows.
This change represents our dedication to thinking fresh and staying at the forefront of innovation, not only in our approach to marketing but also in our internal operations. As the CEO, I firmly believe that this shift will foster a more collaborative, confident, and efficient environment, enabling us to operate more purposefully as individuals and deliver maximum value to our cool clients.
I am excited about this new chapter for Cucumber Marketing and confident that it will yield positive outcomes for both our team and our clients.
I am looking forward to seeing how this opportunity to work smarter, not just harder, will continue to set new standards in the industry.
Freshly,
Helen Stepchuk
CEO, Cucumber Marketing
